The images for the 2011 Trees of Boston Calendar were all taken in the Arnold Arboretum, part of Boston's Emerald Necklace of parks. Home to thousands of species of flora from around the world, the Arboretum offers bountiful photographic opportunities throughout the year. Erik relishes wandering the grounds in all four seasons, in fair weather and foul, with camera in hand.

The photographer thanks the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University for the use of its collection for this calendar. Five percent of net proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Arboretum.
