The images for the 2013 Trees of Boston Calendar were all taken in the Arnold Arboretum, part of Boston's Emerald Necklace of parks. Home to thousands of different plants from around the world, the Arboretum offers bountiful photographic opportunities throughout the year. Erik relishes wandering the grounds in all four seasons, in fair weather and foul, with camera in hand.
The photographer thanks the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University for the use of its collection for this calendar. Five percent of net proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Arboretum.
Printed on 55% recycled paper (30% post-consumer waste) using vegetable-based inks. All photographs were taken in their respective months, and all are available as fine art prints.
